Sorry for the Radio Silence

The past 6 months have been a whirlwind. I'm still adjusting to teaching yoga and now have 4 regularly scheduled classes each week as well as subbing classes here and there (although more here than there lately).

It feels like I'm not making as much art since quitting Painting with a Twist in December, but really I'm just changing the way that I make things. I've been working on finetuning some drawing skills while doing art lessons with a teen. It's always good to go back to the basics for a bit. I've also been working on tapping into the more emotional side of my art by experimenting with different mediums again and starting pieces without a plan. (I usually plan out everything so just drawing without a final idea is super hard for me!)

A month ago my computer died and when I got a new one I didn't get enough harddrive space. Right now, I'm waiting to replace the harddrive, but while I wait I have no room to upload photos or have any old art work on my comp. I applied to a couple art shows recently on some old work that I've submitted before, but so far, no word.

I'm excited to have the space on my computer again to make some new work and be able to upload photos of what I've been experimenting with, hopefully that will be soon.
