    Which fish is which?

I finished this sweet pet portrait a few weeks ago, but I've been having trouble with my camera/computer interacting. I'll hopefully be getting a new dslr soon, probably a Canon 80D, but there's been a lot going on. I actually started this portrait in March, but each pet takes a few hours so I only had time about once a month to work on each one. These are Clelie's pets (clockwise): Midnight, Pumpkin, and Granola. I honestly don't know which fish is which and unfortunately 2 of them passed away on the one freezing day we had this winter.

Swan School is going good, it's just already a lot of time and focus and we're not even in the busiest part yet! We meet tonight and then we're on a 2 week break, which is nice, but everything accelerates when we get back. I've got a few flower paintings lined up for when I have time. Right now, everything is very yoga focused, though. Most of the assignments aren't due until the end, but when we get back from break we have to turn in a class transcription (redone until approved) and then video us teaching our class transcription (also redone until approved). As you might imagine, that takes a lot of time to coordinate and could take me until the end to pass, so I'm trying to get as many assignments done over the break as possible. I have about 100 pages left of my last book to read and then I'll write my 2 papers. I was extremely fortunate to volunteer last weekend to clear land for the Santosha Village. This project work counts as our required seva (selfless service) project. I've definitely made good headway on my teacher training work, but who knows what our last half will bring!
