The Great and Powerful Gizmo

This was originally intended as a birthday gift to a friend, but ended up being a  very belated birthday gift. This is my first dog portrait so far. This is Gizmo, who used to be my dog-boyfriend, but he and his mom moved to Colorado a year ago. They are now moving on to Portland. Luckily, I had sent the painting off before Savanna had packed up.

Savanna assures me that Gizmo's bemused look in this photo is hiding how excited he actually is about being immortalized in paint.
