Produce Product

I didn't receive an acceptance e-mail on Friday from the CAC so it's pretty positive that I didn't get into the Mark of the Feminine. I'm disappointed, of course, I definitely psyched myself up and would've been over the moon to have been a part of the exhibition. But it is what it is. I definitely needed the huge ass-kicking that the prep work gave me and now I'm more than ready to fully commit to completing a new piece every month. Everyone's been so supportive of my effort, it's really helping me to keep going.

It's peach season which means I can work on Ashley's produce portrait next. I have 2 more paintings ready to get started. I'm still looking for people who would like to be a part of the series who are willing to model semi-nude for a drawing study. If you're interested, please let me know and we'll arrange a time to work.
