HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAROD!

Today is Jarod's birthday! For his birthday, his partner, my sister (my actual blood sister this time) commissioned a kitty portrait and I decided to gift him a second one so both his cats could be immortalized in paint.  The first, is Sophia, who recently passed away, and the second is Bernie, who I have recently discovered is Batman.

            

Both are acrylic and ink on wood, size 9"x12" with wood backing so it sits an inch off the wall.

Yes, Jarod and Jill are THOSE cat people now, the ones who have portraits of their cats along the staircase like other people's family portraits. Soon they'll have more portraits of cats than people in their humble abode. (Who are we kidding, I'm the one who told them to put them along the staircase, because I'm THAT person)
